We will be at the 2026 Regional Special Needs Expo on Saturday, August 15, with a table and a laptop. Bring your child's IEP and you can leave registered for a free audit with the document already in our secure portal.

The expo is hosted by the Sumner County Special Needs Collaborative in collaboration with the Special Needs Sports Foundation, Project 22, Hendersonville Parks and Recreation, and PEER Place.

What you can do at our table

Register for a free IEP Audit. We review your child's IEP across six research-grounded areas, identify what is missing or legally inadequate, and send you a written report in plain language. Families pay nothing.

Bring a hard copy and skip a step. If you bring your child's IEP with you, we will register you and upload the document at the table. You walk away with the process already started instead of a card to follow up on later.

Ask what is worrying you. You do not need to be ready to register. If you are unsure whether your child needs an IEP, a 504 plan, or something else, that is a good question to bring, and it is the one we hear most often.

What to bring if you want to register on site

Your child's current IEP, whether that is the full document or the pages you have. We can work with either.

A photo ID is not required. We will ask for your name, your email, and basic information about your child so we know which state's rules apply to the review.

If your copy has your child's full name and school on it, that is fine. We will explain how the document is stored and who can see it before anything is uploaded, and you can decide at the table.

If you cannot make it

The audit is free year-round and the process is the same. Book a New Family Registration call and we will walk you through how it works, which documents to send, and when your written report arrives.
